* Prospect Heights Park District is seeking applicants to fill a vacancy on the Park Board after Tuesday’s Board acceptance of Commissioner Bernie Olson’s resignation due to health issues. Olson has served on the Park District Board 1976 - 2011. The candidate selected to fill the vacancy will finish out Olson’s term, which ends in April 2013. Applicants must have lived within Prospect Heights Park District boundaries for at least one year, must be at least 18 years old, a registered voter and United States citizen. Applicants should submit a letter of interest and a one page resume to Prospect Heights Park District Administration Building, 104 West Camp McDonald Road, Prospect Heights, IL 60070 by 5:00 p.m. on February 14th.
