Youth Soccer
Co-Ed Soccer League
The The Prospect Heights Park District, in cooperation with Wheeling
Park District, is dedicated to providing a structured soccer league
for children from four years old through eighth grade. This league
offers a fun and exciting experience for children while developing
skills. All players learn in an atmosphere where teamwork and
sportsmanship are stressed.
Team Formation & Practices/Games
Teams are formed by Park District staff and are based on
volunteer coaches, school locations, and mutual friendship
requests. The Park District will do its best to keep the same team
from Fall to Spring season.
Practices take place once a week for (1) hour for WWK division through grade 4. Grades 5â8 may have practices twice a week for (1) hour, depending on the coach.
Games for grades K-4 will be played on Saturday afternoons, beginning August 20, 2013.
Games for grades 5â8 will be played on Sunday
afternoons, beginning September 11, 2013. Games also may be
played in Mount Prospect and possibly Wheeling.
Mutual Friendship Request
Friendship requests can be submitted for grades Kâ2. In order for a request to be valid, two mutual requests must be received; i.e. Johnny wants to be with Suzie, and Suzie wants to be with Johnny.
Uniforms*
All players new to the program must purchase a
league uniform to participate in the program.
Level WWK, 1, & 2:
Reversible jersey (blue & gold) available for purchase
at the GMRC for $18 (not included in the registration
fee). If a player already has a jersey, purchase is not
necessary.
Level 3 and 4:
Full uniform (blue shirt with black socks & shorts)
available for purchase at Wheeling Park District for $18

REGISTRATION DEADLINE -
August 17, 2013.
